Pawan ‘Jesus Christ’ Film Hollywood Technician ‘Mission Impossible’ Fame

Pawan Kalyan acted in a small important role for a kids movie based on Jesus Christ’s story.Hollywood technician, Stefano Maria Ortolani who worked for movies like ‘Mission Impossible’, ‘Letters to Juliet’ has been roped in as production designer for this movie.Singeetham Srinivasa Rao is directing this movie and Konda Krishnamraju who is producing this is planning to release it in late 2010 or early 2011 in malayalam, hindi, english and telugu.

RGV ‘Appalaraju’ Shooting in MP & MLA Colony at Gayatri Hills,Hyd

The shooting of Ram Gopal Varma’s (RGV) straight Telugu film after along gap of 12years, “Kadha Screenplay Darsakatvam by Appalaraju” is progressing in a brisk pace at Hyderabad. Today, (November 6th) shooting is progressing in MP and MLA’s Colony at Gayatri Hills, Hyderabad. Some important scenes are going to picturize in Nikhilesh house, Gayatri Hills, Hyderabad.

This is the final schedule and it will continue till the completion of entire shooting this film. Comedian turned Hero Sunil, Anchor turned Heroine Swathi, Aakash and Sakshi (Debut) are starring in this film. It’s being produced by Kiran Koner and music is being composed by Koti. According to sources, it may hit the theatres in January 2011 as Sankranti gift to the Tollywood viewers.

Yamudu’ is Going to be Remake in Hindi

“Yamudu” which was dubbed from Tamil super hit “Singam” and created a sensational records at box office. Latest news is that this film is going to remake in Hindi by ‘Reliance Big Pictures’ where they also co-produced the Tamil version.

According to the sources, after successful comedies like “Golmaal” series and “All The Best”, director Rohit Shetty will directed this action packed film. Rohit who is the best friend Ajay Devgan will cast as lead in this Hindi version where Surya acted in its original version. Considering that Rohit made his debut as a director in “Zameen”, which was also an action film.

Producer Ashok kumar House 50Laks Robbed in Film Nagar

Top producer cum character, villain artist ashok kumar’s house in Film Nagar is attacked by thieves last night and valuable gold items along with cash summing to Rs.50 Lakhs has been robbed. Thieves entered the house by removing the grills of windows and left away without disturbing any of the neighbors.

Paradoxically, ashok kumar’s house is exactly opposite to West Zone DCP Stephen Ravindra’s house in Film Nagar. It looks as if these thieves well executed the plan. Clue teams have arrived on spot and Special Police teams are already sent into city to see that thieves don’t leave Hyderabad easily.

Nara Rohit New Flick Launch on December 1st at Malaysia

Baanam” fame Nara Rohit and Successful producer Paruchuri Kireeti are going to form a team to make a new film with debut director Prakash Koneti. Prakash Koneti is well experienced in direction department and he worked with directors SS Rajmouli, Sukumar, etc.Latest news is that this film will launch on December 1st at Malaysia and shooting will continue around 50days in Malaysia.

Dil Raju Announces ‘Gaganam’ & Mr.Perfect’ Release Dates

Golden Hand Producer Dil Raju today has announced release dates of his next productions ‘Gaganam’ and ‘Mr.Perfect’. ‘Gaganam’ is an experimental flick starring Nagarjuna and directed Radhamohan. The film has no Heroines and based on Kandahaar Hijack. ‘Gaganam’ will hit screens on January 1st, 2011. On the otherside, Prabhas’s Romantic Love Entertainer tentatively titled as ‘Mr.Perfect’ is gearing up to release for Pongal. Dil Raju said that film will hit screens on 14th January, 2011. Dasarath is directing the film and Kajal, Tapsee are female leads in the flick.

Rajini Animation Film ‘Sultan’ Title Changed As ‘Hara’

Superstar plays a dual role in his next flick “Hara”, the new name for “Sultan the Warrior”, which was earlier confirmed by its debutant director Soundarya Ashwin, daughter of Super Star Rajini. While “Hara” is animated, “Hara” is the real man in flesh and blood.

A source close to the producer council revealed that Soundarya had indeed registered the title “Hara” at the council when she began the project a few years ago. But Rajinikanth who had his own reasons felt that “Hara” was not a good choice and changed it then for “Sultan the Warrior”. It was said that Rajini who was always passionate about his all time favourite movie “Baasha” where he played a Muslim -Manick Baasha wanted to sentimentally change it to a Muslim name ‘Sultan’. Now, with the undue delay of the project, they wanted to go back to the original title. It is an open secret that Vijayalakshmi of Chennai-28 fame is the heroine for the animated Rajini and her portions have already been canned in Hyderabad. Now the hot news is that Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has been roped in for the K.S. Ravikumar directed live portions of Rajinikanth. In fact, an insider added that Vidya was the first choice of the Superstar.In the meantime, Soundarya confirmed that the title has been changed from “Sultan the Warrior” to “Hara” and that Ravikumar will be part of the project.

RGV to Delete Few Scenes From ’Rakta Charitra’

Ramgopal Varma’s sky hype film “Rakta Charitra-1” is being facing controversies from the starting its self, even after release (Released on yesterday) also this film is facing the same. Here, new controversy has been raised for “Rakta Charitra-1”, the TDP leaders and followers alleged that Varma projected NTR as the one who encouraged factional violence by introducing Paritala Ravi into the party.

Protestors in Anantapur, Hindupur, Eluru, Visakhapatnam, Karimnagar and other towns gathered outside theatres, raised slogans against Varma and burnt his effigy. They demanded a ban on the movie. The protestors attacked theatres in Visakhapatnam and Karimnagar towns and stopped the screening of the movie.TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu demanded that the scenes disparagement NTR should be deleted and the filmmaker should apologize all the protestors of TDP.NTR’s second wife Lakshmi Parvathi too demanded that the controversial scenes be deleted. She said that if the scenes are not deleted she will file case against the film in a Court. Former Minister Paritala Ravi’s wife Pratila Sunitha also stipulated to delete the scenes which projected NTR as the one who encouraged factional violence by inducting Paritala Ravi into the party.Considering all these allegations, RGV (Ramgopal Varma) and Producer C.Kalyan, has agreed to delete some scenes allegedly projecting former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N.T. Rama Rao in poor light in their film “Rakta Charitra-1”.

Producer C.Kalyan stated that, they would delete the objectionable scenes and dialogues by today (October 23rd). He also said that he is the biggest fan of the late former chief minister and popular actor NTR. He added those who had not even watched the movie were staging protests. They should see the larger context in which the movie has been produced. Finally he has agreed to delete the scenes.

Brindavanam collects more than Khaleja

NTR’s Brindavanam collected Rs 22.14 crore for the first seven days. Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja first week’s collections stood at Rs 21.31 crore.

Brindavanam first week collections created all time records in Anantapuram, Kurnool town, Madanapally, Proddutur, Gudivada, Kavali and Palamaneru. The movie is still going strong in several theatres.

Though there is no novelty in the storyline, but director Vamshi Paidypally’s narration was appreciated by mass and class audience.

Khaleja’s two week’s collections exceed Rs 30 crore. Khaleja movie producer incurred huge losses with Pawan Kalyan’s Puli is getting some respite with Mahesh Babu’s movie.

Anushka To Be Paired Opposite Chiranjeevi

The lanky lass Anushka, who once tapped her feet for a song alongside megastar Chiranjeevi in the film Stalin, awaits a further prospect of being paired opposite Chiranjeevi. As the latter reportedly okayed to act in spite of his hectic mobility in politics, the industry sources are speculating about the director, producer as well as the female lead of the film in which he is supposed to act. At this juncture, the probability of Anushka sharing screen space with Chiranjeevi, is being talked about. Answering a question concerning the matter, Anushka said, "I'd be the most fortunate person to act opposite Chiranjeevi. I felt his grandeur within the short span of time I was paired opposite him for a song. Unfortunately, I could not get a chance to act with him."

Mani Ratnam's Next Film Based On Mahabharata

Raavan (Villain in Telugu) was loosely based on Ramayan and at the box office it didn't work. Mani Ratnam hasn't given up, he's out to direct another film this time which revolves around a contemporary Mahabharata..a woman with five men in her life. Sources cite that it would be a complete bold and commercial film but there is lot more competition coming in. Another similar subject is getting ready in Telugu too. After Aa Naluguru, Chandra Siddharth wanted to direct Aa Aidhuguru with this theme but he gave it up after learning that elsewhere the film was in the scripting stage. Now it's finally happening..a film on a woman involved with five men.

Veeru Potla Talks About The Nagarjuna Starrer Ragada

Veeru Potla is taking enough care not to be branded like Sreenu Vaitla as humour-based entertainment filmmaker. After Bindaas he has embarked on an action-based stylized film Ragada with Nagarjuna. He is all praise for Nagarjuna and says he danced well and did all the actions scenes with aplomb. I have written lines specially for Nagarjuna to describe his looks and character, he adds.

"In Bindaas, Manoj's character was based on his real behaviour and attitude, here too we have portrayed Nagarjuna's cool demeanor in face of adversity. I have roped in Priyamani after seeing Paruthiveeran, she is a talented lady and Anushka has a heart of gold. None of the characters in the film are for ornamental purpose, they all run the story, they are instrumental in moving it forward. You will find 20 percent sentiment in my movies, my aim is escapist enjoyment but somewhere down the line I would want to do some cerebral films laced with some entertainment."

Yemaindi Eevela releasing on Oct 29

The film Emaindi Ee Vela, starring Varun Sandesh and debutante Kajal Agarwal’s sister, Nisha Agarwal in the lead roies, is being scheduled for release on October 29.

The film is produced by Kesanapalli Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Satya Sai Arts and directed by Sampath Nandi. The music has been scored by Chakri and the audio of the film released recently is becoming popular.

Varun Sandesh reportedly has high hopes on this film as he badly requires a hit which is elluding him after Kotha Bangaru Lokam.

Ravi Teja as Mass Raja

Veteran actor-producer Krishnam Raju is reported to be making a film titled Mass Raja starring Ravi Teja and will be directed by Gopichand Malineni who recently gave the hit film Don Seenu. The film will be produced under the banner of Gopikrishna Movies.

Krishnam Raju will also make another film titled Rebel which will star his nephew Prabhas. More details about these two projects are awaited.

Sanjana Celebrates Birthday In Dubai

Sanjana who made her debut in the Telugu film industry in the film 'Bujjigadu Made In Chennai', is reportedly committed to five films in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam languages at the moment. So, she feels this birthday is extra special for her and accordingly she celebrated it in Dubai. The Malayalam film 'Casanova' in which Sanjana is playing the lead, was scheduled to be shot in Dubai for a while. "The shooting of the film commenced on 1st of this month. My mom was with me in Dubai and as it was my birthday, my dad too joined us. I'm glad to celebrate my birthday in Dubai," said Sanjana.

She in Hyderabad now to attend the muhurat of the film Dussasana, directed by Posani Krishna Murali and co-starring Srikanth, Tashu Kaushik. She will leave for Malaysia soon to join the unit of Casanova.
