Maybe it was the trend, tech companies are being targeted as an object of the story behind the Hollywood movies. After Sony Pictures will soon release a movie about The Social Networks around the establishment of social networks Facebook, a film about Google apparently will also be made immediately.
As quoted from the site Deadline.com, Groundswell Productions and producer John Morris has been willing to pay for the filming rights from the book by Ken Auletta, entitled Googled: The End of the World As We Know it. Later, the film will be more talked about Google's founders, Sergey Brin and Larry Page, and the rise of the web industry which then makes them both now become a billionaire.
When the movie The Social Network more talked about Mark Zuckerberg and the campus environment at Harvard University, while a film about Google's more talked about efforts to develop the two founders of Google, still trying to hold fast to the value of the firm: "Do not be evil."
"The story is about two young men who founded a company later changed the world, and how the world ultimately transform them," said Michael London, Groundswell Productions. Google itself was founded by Brin and Page when both took classes at Stanford University S3. Then they agreed to create a better search engine than that at the time.
Now, Google has become a huge company with advertising revenue in anaesthetized reach around U.S. $ 20 billion, or greater than the income of any broadcast network. Google CEO Eric Schmidt is optimistic, Google will become the first media company that is able to achieve revenues of U.S. $ 100 billion.
