Director Gunashekar is set to make another film. He will be directing Ravi Teja this time. Interestingly, this new film is titled Katti. Yuvan Shankar Raja would be composing the music. “Music sittings would begin on Vijaya Dasami. I am happy to work with Yuvan, who is one of the brightest music directors today,” Gunashekar said. The movie is going to be stylized action entertainer. But the director refused to divulge the producer’s name.

For Chiranjeevi, only money matters
The first family to feel bad about Dasari Narayana Rao getting best actor award for Mestri seems to be Chiranjeevi’s.
In the first instance, the choice denied a likely best actor Nandi award to Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan. And the next, Dasari got the award for a film which was critical of Chiranjeevi’s political ambitions. The film, Mestri bombed at the box-office.
Actors in our family are not after awards, Chiru said. We are here to entertain and ensure that the people involved in the business get good returns, he asserted.

Srikanth’s Dushasana launched
Srikanth’s Dushasana launched
Srikanth starrer Dushasana has been launched today at a muhurt function held at Rama Naidu Studios. Veteran producer D Rama Naidu sounded the clap, Ambika Krishna switched on the camera and KS Rama Rao directed the muhurt shot.
Dushasana is written ans directed by Posani Krishna Murali and produced by Muralikrishna under the banner of Laughing Lords Entertainment. Sanjana plays the female lead.
This is the second film of Posani and Srikanth combination after Operation Duryodhana.
Nagarjuna’s Rajanna goes to floors in November
The period film of Nagarjuna titled Rajanna will go for regular shooting in November. This film with the backdrop of the Razakar movement in Telangana has been written by S.Vijayendra Prasad who will also direct the movie.
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna’s film Gaganam is getting ready for release and the shooting of Ragada is in progress.
Chiranjeevi’s nephew to make Tollywood debut
Sai Dharam Tej, nephew of Chiranjeevi, is all set to make his debut as hero. Producer-director YVS Chowdary will launch this scion of Chiranjeevi clan under his banner Bommarillu. YVS is credited with launching Ram with Devadasu.
YVS is presently busy with the script for the film and sources say the film will feature many new faces including the heroine. An official announcement is expected during the festival season
