Bhojpuri actress Pratibha.

It is now confirmed that Bhojpuri actress Pratibha Pandey will be part of the cast of a Hollywood flick.

According to recent reports confirmed by the actress herself, she is acting in a movie called Forest Brigade.

Pratibha reveals that she has a few fight scenes in the movie.

At the moment, Pratibha is working towards preparing herself for the action sequences.

In terms of training, she spent some time in Pune, learning basic martial arts from a Chinese instructor.

Bollywood's 'betrayed' actresses

Promises are made but not all promises are kept. This is true even in Bollywood. Ask Kangana Ranaut, the actress plays an important role in the much awaited Kites, but she is nowhere to be seen in the film's publicity. It is all about Hrithik and Barbara with Papa Roshan joining in.

Even the initial publicity of Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion ignored Kangana.

Another victim of broken promises is Sonam Kapoor. The actress was quite excited about walking the red carpet at Cannes as L'Oreal's brand ambassador but queen bee Ash didn't want the new kid on the block to steal her thunder. So Sonam had to say no to Cannes.

Southern sensation Asin hit it big in Bollywood with Ghajini, but when it came to the promotional activities, Aamir Khan being Aamir Khan overshadowed her. Though Asin had an explanation for her absence at publicity events, but the public knows it all.

Another victim of Aamir's omnipresence is Jiah Khan. The dusky actress was left out in the cold from all Ghajini publicity.

If Aamir hogs all the publicity, can Shah Rukh be far behind. The focus of Billu's publicity was on SRK and the three actresses in the item songs and the real heroine of the film, Lara Dutta, was nowhere to be seen.

Kareena has been in the news lately for her film that was previously titled Jehaad, but has now been renamed as the title is liable to raise problems and controversy.

Producer Karan Johar was a little upset with Saif and Kareena - the leading pair of the film - for declaring Jehaad as the title even before it was finalised.

The film has now been remaned Qurbaan.

Qurbaani is the third Saif-Kareena film that is underway, the other two being Agent Vinod and Race 2.

Kareena Kapoor rocks Elle

She is one Diva who has been ruling the Bollywood for quite some time now. She is none other than Bollywood's very own Kareena Kapoor, who has been in the news for practically everything that she does, right from her choice of dresses to her love life, every aspect of her personality makes for a breezy front page read.

The latest is that she is the 'Cover-Girl' for this month's issue of Elle. Stunning and refreshingly candid, Kareena Kapoor looks cool, dressed in Dior. Bebo speaks about her life in detail in this issue.

She says that she follows her heart when choosing projects and the one she's most excited about in 2009 is her release with beau Saif Ali Khan. Kareena's got a tight schedule, with back-to-back shoots but has made her peace with it: "Some things can't be planned."

Kareena, who is dismissive about the 'size zero' tag, defends herself saying "My body keeps changing of course, and every film you can see that, I just don't understand why the whole country had to discuss dress sizes like it was the national economy."

She credits her toned body to a disciplined yoga regime and a vegetarian diet. Not just that, she's also open about her relationship with Saif; talking about the things she's learnt from him - love for reading, for one - and how their bond has grown stronger despite their different worlds.
