Kareena Kapoor rocks Elle

She is one Diva who has been ruling the Bollywood for quite some time now. She is none other than Bollywood's very own Kareena Kapoor, who has been in the news for practically everything that she does, right from her choice of dresses to her love life, every aspect of her personality makes for a breezy front page read.

The latest is that she is the 'Cover-Girl' for this month's issue of Elle. Stunning and refreshingly candid, Kareena Kapoor looks cool, dressed in Dior. Bebo speaks about her life in detail in this issue.

She says that she follows her heart when choosing projects and the one she's most excited about in 2009 is her release with beau Saif Ali Khan. Kareena's got a tight schedule, with back-to-back shoots but has made her peace with it: "Some things can't be planned."

Kareena, who is dismissive about the 'size zero' tag, defends herself saying "My body keeps changing of course, and every film you can see that, I just don't understand why the whole country had to discuss dress sizes like it was the national economy."

She credits her toned body to a disciplined yoga regime and a vegetarian diet. Not just that, she's also open about her relationship with Saif; talking about the things she's learnt from him - love for reading, for one - and how their bond has grown stronger despite their different worlds.

The most famous Bollywood nagin is of course Sridevi who became an ichchadari nagin to save her husband's soul in the 1986 flick Nagina

In 1989, Sridevi repeated her nagin persona in Nigahen.

In 2002, Manisha Koirala turned snaky with Jani Dushman.

In 1990, Rekha put on the nagin costume for Shesh Naag

Another famous nagin is Reena Roy in the film also called Nagin.

In 1989, Meenakshi Seshadri acted in Nache Nagin Gali Gali.

In 1954, Vyjanthimala danced as a nagin to man dole mera tan dole in the film Nagin.

In 1989, Mandakini acted in Naag Nagin.

Apart from mainstream Bollywood, even B-Grade and C-Grade films on nagins have been made. Films like Pyaasi Nagin, Jungle Ki Nagin were among some of the known films from these categories.

Ash impresses Berlin

The Indian beauty was cheered by hundreds of film enthusiasts when she arrived at the Berlinale Palast, the main festival venue, for opening screening of the film.

The actress showed no signs of discomfort in the sub-zero temperature in Berlin and spent about 15 minutes signing autographs, posing for photographs and giving interviews to various TV networks.
Answering questions from international media, Ash said in spite of her smaller role, she was quite delighted to be a part of the sequel to the 2006 worldwide hit and felt quite honoured to work with celebrities like Steve Martin, Jean Reno, John Cleese, Andy Garcia, Alfred Molina and Emily Mortimer.
The actress is globetrotting with the film's cast.

Ash, Rajnikanth in Endhiran

Check out superstars Aishwarya Rai and Rajnikanth in their upcoming film Endhiran. Endhiran, initially titled Robot, stars superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

With a budget of Rs 120 crore, Endhiran is said to be the costliest Indian film.

Endhiran is a science fiction film and is directed by S Shankar.

Shankar had previously worked with Rajinikanth in the superhit Sivaji: The Boss.

The music director for Endhiran is none other than Oscar-winner A.R Rahman.

The film is being produced by Kalanidhi Maran.

For the female lead Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Asin Thottumkal, Trisha Krishnan, Shriya Saran, Priyamani and Nayanthara were in contention.

Shankar initially chose Shah Rukh Khan for the lead role, but apparantly things didn't work out.

Ash managed to bag the role because she had worked with Shankar earlier in Jeans.

Chinese stunt coordinator Woo-ping Yuen has been hired to supervise the action stunts in the film.

The shooting locations include the historic Machu Picchu in Peru.

The original title Robot couldn't be retained because the Tamil Nadu government provides tax exemption to films with Tamil titles.
